About Crymphel and how we work

A Singapore-registered cloud accounting company that answers the phone. Registration details and our business phone number sit in the footer of every page.

Synopsis

Why Crymphel exists

Crymphel exists because Singapore businesses kept being sold accounting software and left to figure out the accounting part alone. We build a cloud platform for local workflows and staff it with people who answer the phone. The company is registered in Singapore, and our registration details and business phone number sit in the footer of this site where you can check them.

That single sentence is the whole idea. Everything below it explains how we got here, what we actually provide, who we serve, and where the limits are. If you read only one paragraph before deciding whether to talk to us, read the one above.

Why we started

The pattern was familiar. A founder buys a cloud accounting subscription, gets a login, and then spends the next month searching for how to handle GST or CPF. Support tickets go into a queue. The software was fine; the gap was everything around it.

Crymphel was set up to close that gap for Singapore companies specifically, with local tax and payroll rules built in rather than bolted on. We would rather explain a limitation honestly than sell a feature you will not use.

That decision shapes the product. Local tax categories, CPF handling, and GST-ready ledgers are part of the base build, not an add-on module you discover three invoices in.

What we do, plainly

We provide cloud accounting software and the support that goes with it. Below is what sits inside that sentence, and where the edges are. Each row is one part of the offer — the same facts we would put in a proposal.

Bookkeeping and invoicing

Your day-to-day transactions, customer invoices, and supplier bills in one ledger, with a clean set of books from the first entry. Useful if you have been running on spreadsheets or a desktop package and want the history to stay intact.

Bank feeds

Transaction data pulled in from your business accounts so reconciliation starts from real lines rather than a monthly download. Matching rules can be set once and reused, which matters most when volume picks up.

GST-ready ledgers

Tax codes, input and output tracking, and the reports an accountant asks for at filing time. If you are not GST-registered yet, the ledger still records what you will need the day you cross the threshold.

Payroll integration

Salary runs, CPF categories, and itemised payslips connected to the same books, so payroll does not become a second system with its own version of the truth.

Onboarding and migration

A guided move off spreadsheets or a desktop package, including opening balances and a mid-year start where the first period has to line up with what you already filed.

Ongoing help

Phone, email, and live chat during Singapore business hours. What we do not do is run your entire finance function for you. If you need a fully outsourced accounting department, we will say so and point you toward what that model looks like.

Corporate registration and how to verify us

Buying business software means trusting a vendor with your financial data, so the vendor should be easy to identify. Crymphel's corporate registration details are published in the footer of every page on this site, alongside our business phone number. Our Singapore contact address and enquiry email are on the contact page.

You are welcome to check all of it before you sign up. In a market with plenty of resellers and thin landing pages, a verifiable operating company is a reasonable thing to want.

If you are evaluating more than one provider, the same questions apply to each of them: who is the registered entity, where is the office, can you reach a person, and does the software handle GST and CPF without extra modules.

Our support model

Support works best when the person answering can see your account and your history. Ours can.

Email and live chat

[email protected]

Email enquiries get a written reply. Phone, email, and live chat all reach people who can look at your ledger context rather than reading from a script. If a problem is easier to show than describe, we will move to a call or a shared screen. We do not route you through a chatbot to reach a human.

Who we serve in Singapore

Our users range from sole directors who incorporated last quarter to finance teams at established SMEs. The common thread is a Singapore entity with local filing obligations. The platform scales across all three groups below, and the support model stays the same.

Sole directors and new companies

Invoicing and a clean set of books

Startups tend to need invoicing and clean books from the first transaction. Setup is guided, so you are not guessing at chart-of-accounts choices you will have to unpick later.

Growing SMEs

Payroll and GST as headcount rises

Growing SMEs add payroll and GST as headcount and turnover rise. Both sit in the same ledger, so reporting does not depend on reconciling two systems at quarter end.

Mid-market finance teams

Multiple users and an audit trail

Mid-market teams come to us for multiple users, approval flows, and an audit trail that survives scrutiny. Permissions are set per user, so approval rights stay with the people who should hold them.

How we think about the competition

Singapore's cloud accounting market is busy, and buyers have real options. Some providers lead with software alone, others bundle incorporation and bookkeeping into a managed service. Both models work for the right business.

We sit on the software side with support attached, which suits companies that want to keep their books in-house but not alone. Comparing on local readiness, support reachability, and whether the provider is a verifiable business will tell you more than a feature grid.

A feature grid tends to list everything both sides offer. The three questions below are the ones that actually change your first six months with a platform.

Three questions worth asking

Does it handle GST and CPF natively?
A global product adapted for Singapore usually means workarounds. Local rules built in means fewer manual adjustments at filing time.
Can you reach a human when it matters?
Try the phone number before you sign. A queue that never resolves is the real cost of cheap software.
Is the provider a verifiable business?
Registered details, a real address, and a company you can identify before handing over your financial data.

Our approach to your data

Your accounting records belong to you. Access is controlled per user, so you can give a bookkeeper limited permissions and keep approval rights yourself. Every change is logged with a timestamp and a user.

If you ever leave, you can export your data. We do not treat your ledger as a lock-in mechanism, and we would rather earn renewal through usefulness than through switching friction. The privacy policy on this site sets out how personal data is handled.

What we are working on

The roadmap follows what Singapore users ask for. Recent priorities have included tighter GST workflows around filing deadlines and better handling of common payroll cases like CPF categories and itemised payslips. We also keep improving the onboarding path for businesses migrating mid-year, since that is where most setup friction sits.

In progress

GST workflows tied more closely to filing deadlines, so the reports you need are ready before the date rather than the week after.

Payroll detail

Better handling of common payroll cases, including CPF categories and itemised payslips that stand up to an employee question.

Onboarding

A cleaner path for businesses migrating mid-year, where opening balances have to line up with a period you already filed.

How to influence it

If something is missing for your workflow, telling support is how it reaches the list. We publish changes rather than shipping them silently.

Questions we get asked

Is Crymphel a software company or an accounting firm?

We are a software company with support services attached. We provide the cloud accounting platform and help you use it, but we do not run your finance function as an outsourced accounting department.

Where can I find your corporate registration details?

They are published in the footer of every page on this site, together with our business phone number. Our Singapore contact address and enquiry email are on the contact page.

Do you only work with Singapore companies?

Our focus is Singapore entities with local filing obligations, including GST and CPF. The software handles those workflows directly, which is why we concentrate on this market rather than adapting a global product.

Can we export our data if we stop using the platform?

Yes. Your records belong to you and can be exported, which is part of why we do not rely on switching friction to keep customers. If you are evaluating providers, it is worth asking each of them the same question.

Where to go next

If you want to see what the platform does, the features page walks through GST, payroll, invoicing, and bank feeds. If budget is the deciding factor, the pricing page shows the tiers and what changes between them. If you would rather talk it through, the contact page has our phone number, email, and enquiry form. And if your first question is simply whether we are a real company, the footer answers that.
